It’s not easy to travel in style. You’d know about this unfortunate fact of life if you’ve ever ridden on a red eye only to wake up looking all slovenly and disheveled. The right pieces, however, will be all you’ll need to arrive looking every bit as sharp and fashionable as your did at the departure area. Here are some of the things you’ll definitely need to bring along on your next business trip, whether you’re headed to Rome or Rhode Island.

It’s Mother Nature herself who’ll be giving you the biggest challenge during that in-between season phase. Wearing clothes that are meant solely for one specific season is difficult because the weather is touch and go on most days.

Keep your thick, Sherpa-lined jackets and coats in the closet; chances are you won’t be able to wear them for the rest of the season. Don’t bring out your light cotton shirts and linen shorts just yet, though. For most men in the northern hemisphere, those pieces will only get comfortable around mid-March. Read more

In the past style and fashion have been focused on women, but now men too are expected to know what’s in fashion and what clothes will suit them. It’s not always an easy task, so here’s our run down of the hottest menswear trends for 2010 and how to wear them.

1. Double denim

Double denim is a massive trend for both sexes this season. Top designers have featured this look recently, with it playing a big part in the D&G catwalk ranges so it’s sure to be a hot style for the spring/summer.

The key to getting this look right is to keep it simple. Wear jeans and a denim shirt with a plain black or white t-shirt underneath or a simple dark jumper under a denim jacket. When it comes to shades, contrast all the way, if you try and match then you’ll inevitably end up missing by a shade or two- not a good look! Even if you do get the match perfect contrast works best.
