Sleeveless Dresses Are Again In Fashion

From sheaths to sundresses and from I-shirts to Gymslips, sleeveless dresses have always been in fashion  from the very start of style history. No matter what size, shape or age that is, women are just in love with sleeveless dresses. However, it was Sleeveless gowns, which made most of the marks through ages.

Sleeveless Dresses have been in-style informal wear in the United States since the 1980s, and are considered as acceptable community casual dress in most temperate weather localities. In the mid-nineties, the sleeveless white gowns became almost a compulsory wedding dress throughout States. Celebrities like Kristen Dust, Kate Winslet and Nicole Kidman were among the top female celebs of that time who gave rose to the fashion of sleeveless dressing.

The trend, however, faced a decline in the start of this century due to the bursting popularity of Halters and Strapless Dresses. Although, one can count these forms of dresses into sleeveless type too, but still the specification of typical Sleeveless Dress were missing in these styles.At last, they came back for Sleeveless Dresses did happen with the Fall-Spring Fashion scene of 2009. More and more designers included the typical sleeves dresses, gowns and shorts in their ramp collection that resultantly gave rise to the popularity of Sleeveless Clothing.

The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, celebrated on January 31, 2010, at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, proved to be one of the biggest red-carpet portals of Sleeveless dresses and gowns this year. Celebs like Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Kathy Griffin and Jennifer Nettles glittered on the Grammy’s red carpet in typical Sleeveless dressing.
